तरक्की तो बहुत कर ली हमने फिर भी हम हार गए
हथियारों की लालसा में हम ऐसे मोड़ पर खड़े हैं
इतनी सुरक्षा कर ली कोई हमें ना आग दिखा सके
लेकिन छोटी सी गलती के कारण हम अपनों को ना बचा सके
हमने बना लिए प्रमाण पर एक छोटे से जीवाणु से हार गए बहुतों की जिंदगी गई कईयों को रोते देखा
अनदेखे जीवाणु के आगे पूरी दुनिया को झुकते देखा
आंखों से आंसू सोते नहीं भक्तों को रोते देखा तरक्की तो बहुत कर ली हमने फिर भी हम हार गए
अस्पतालों जीवन से ना हार देने वालों को लड़ते देखा
कम पड़ गए हाथ थामने वालों के
लाशों के ढेर में जमीन में दफन होते देखा
रो रहा शहर सारा दुनिया को भी बेबस देखा
तरक्की तो बहुत कर ली हमने फिर भी हम हार गए
have progressed a lot, yet we have lost, in the longing of weapons, we have been so safe standing at such a turn, no one can show us the eye but due to a small mistake, we could not save our own people. Lost many lives of bacteria, saw many people weeping, we saw the whole world bowing in front of the unseen bacteria, tears did not dry from the eyes, we saw many weeping, but we made many progress Still we have lost the fighters in the hospitals, we have seen the losers, we have seen the hands of the fallen people being buried in the ground in this pile of corpses, weeping, the whole world has seen the helpless world, but we have done a lot of progress.
